Advanced fault diagnostics for Fiat & Alfa Romeo cars
Our MultiECUScan package supports fault code reading (and clearing) and live sensor data from controllers such as
Engine, Automatic Transmission, Airbag, ABS and Electric Power Steering.
Finally you can look after Fiat-based cars at home or in the workshop without needing to visit the dealer!
Coverage includes most 1999 or newer petrol and diesel models (cars must have a 16-pin diagnostic socket fitted to be compatible with this package).
** Important - 2018+ model year coverage: **
Please note - some vehicles from the 2018 model year onwards (sold since mid-2017) , will have a
" Security GateWay" Module ( SGW).
The SGW module limits diagnostic communication to read-only access, unless the tool can obtain a session-specific
access code from Fiat group's servers (which requires an expensive subscription).
This limitation blocks tools from executing commands on the vehicle (e.g. actuations, procedures
and even clearing of DTCs).
However, the current generation of SGW can be bypassed, by unplugging the SGW from the car, and connecting an
SGW Bypass Adaptor (available separately) in its place.
Vehicles known to be affected so far include MY2018 500X/Renegade, 500L MCA, Doblo, Giulia/Stelvio.

What about updates?
The software licence entitles you to 12 months of free updates from the date of registration.
At the end of the 12 months, the version currently installed will not time out - you can continue to use it.
If you wish to continue updating the software, just purchase a new software licence for a further 12 months of updates.
Return of product
In the unlikely event that you decide to return the product, we will of course provide a refund, but we regret that we
cannot refund the software price if the MultiECUScan software has been registered. We recommend testing your vehicle
with the free software version available from MultiECUScan.net and only once satisfied it works correctly, using the
Promo code included in the package to register the full version.
IMPORTANT NOTE: These adaptor cables are only intended for use with the MultiECUScan software, on supported Fiat
group vehicles, as listed on the MultiECUScan.net
Supported Vehicles List.
Use on other vehicles or with other software is not supported and may cause damage to your vehicle or equipment.

Software updates
Software updates are free for the first 12 months from the date of software activation.
To update your software just download the installer from www.multiecuscan.net when a new version is released, and install it over the top of your existing installation - this will preserve the activation details.
Once the 12 months have elapsed, the software will not "time out" - it will continue to work with the currently installed version.
If you wish to download further updates from this point forward though, you would need to purchase another 12 month software licence.

Got Multiecuscan to diagnose a fault on my motorhome which kept coming back even after having the EGR valve changed in France.
After a tense and nervous drive back we got home OK.
Bought Multiecuscan and ran a diagnostic check which revealed various faults some which had been there ages.
Anyway cleared the codes and drove around and got an EGR code back again.
Anyway I followed some advice from the fiat forum and ran some live data recordings and let the guy on the forum look at them.
He came back with blocked DEGR cooler.
Cooler changed after parting with lots of cash but all good now.
Thanks Multiecuscan and the guy on the fiat forum for allowing me to move forward without changing parts that didnt need changing.
What a great piece of software with great functionality, I will recommend it to anyone that has a fiat.
Easy to follow instructions and easy interface to use.
What more can I say except well done.

I have a number of vehicles, from different manufacturers but the same group, so wanted something better than amateur but not as drastic as professional. Gendan couldn't have been more helpful, other than bringing me mugs of coffee, but they did send Haribo. Ordered Monday and the interface and leads arrived the very next day. Very pleased with the product, service and humour, can't recommend them enough

So, I bought MultiECUScan from Gendan for a 4WD 1.9D Sedici then used it for a 4WD 2.0D SX4 until March of this year (2024). With it, I have done all the servicing except routine cam belt replacements on both cars. Over many years with updates, it must have saved me thousands of pounds. In addition to Gendan, the MultiECUScan people have always been very helpful when I have had to move the package onto a new laptop and reregister it. I put the SX4 up for sale in March. After the first potential buyer had road tested the car, I hooked up MultiECUScan to show him that there were no fault codes. He bought it immediately and didnt quibble over the price.

Great diagnostic software and service, thumbs up all round.
Had an intermittent error with the transmission on my automatic Abarth 595, my concern was that it was the gearbox. Tried reading the codes on various PC and android tools using a generic OBD II bluetooth reader, absolutely no luck with that.
Thought Id give the MultiECUScan package a go, it gets very good feedback on lots of abarth and fiat forums. Ordered, and it arrived the next day with standard delivery. Plugged in, lots of historic errors which had never been cleared (result of a weak battery Id replaced a couple of years ago). This is good progress, nothing else had picked these up. Cleared those errors, and did a quick drive to replicate the error I previously had. The software picked up this error straight away, and pointed to the brake light switch. Ok, so thats interesting, take out that switch clean it up a bit and still have the same issue. However, the actual issue is a very poor fix to a previously broken wire its one of the brake wires connecting to switch. Someone had taped up the 2 pieces, and the recent hot weather had probably loosened this connection, which was therefore was presumably shorting the connection intermittently. Fixed the wire by splicing the broken wire with some electrical connectors, its feeling better, no more errors everything looks good.
Absolutely brilliant piece of software, the tool has paid for itself for just this fix. Im absolutely not a mechanic, but with a bit of knowledge from this tool some guides on the internet I can see this will help me out with most simple things that go wrong. It should also help me narrow down issues if I do have to resort to going to a garage, which is always helpful.

What a great purchase, I bought this to investigate fault on my Fiat Ducato 2.3 Euro 6 where I knew the dpf was full and revs were restricted, I had also recently replaced the O2 sensor but the fault persisted. I had used my icarsoft CR Pro to diagnose but it couldnt di more than throw up generic codes that were no help as some related to a part that was never fitted. I took it to a garage that assured me they could sort out Fiat issue with there professional equipment, well they couldnt (to be fair they didnt charge me).
I bought the plus version of this for the enthusiast, more in hope to identify the underlying issue rather than expecting of sorting it myself. I followed the instructions carefully to install the drivers, software etc and then started exploring what the multiecuscan has to offer, I soon found that I had to let the ecu know that I had replaced the lamda sensor, this was easily done with a couple of clicks.
I then ran a diagnostic scan and noticed it identified the vehicle chassis number correctly but it showed an error in recognising the ecu version, I went back and manually selected a different ecu version and on the third attempt, I found I had chosen the correct one. The scan revealed a couple of codes, both relating to dpf blocked (400% full) though I already knew this, but no further suggestions. I recalled my earlier exploration of the software where I had found that I needed to let it know that the O2 sensor had been changed, there was a long list of things that could be done here, one of them was to force a dpf regeneration, I clicked on this not expecting to be able to force it as the garage had failed, the engine burst into life, revving to 3,000 rpm which it held for about 20 minutes and lo and behold, the dpf was regenerated, I then cleated the fault codes, problem solved.
Yippee and a big thank you to Gendan Ltd for this excellent bit of kit.
My advice to anyone thinking of buying this software, dont hesitate, just do it then take your time to install it properly in the correct order, read the multiecuscan user manual (I printed it out and put it in a folder for easy reference) and reap the benefits of your purchase. I did 5 stars +++ from me.
